Challenge
The owners wanted a brighter, more usable kitchen and dining space in a cottage near Ascot, without a full house rebuild. The old kitchen needed stripping out. The floor, heating, lighting and a dark flat-roof area all had to be brought up to the same standard as the new units.
Solution
Robin Services Ltd stripped the old kitchen, took down a short run of partition, and prepared the space for a new layout.
The build included:
New kitchen installation (by Neptune) and connections
Natural stone floor on a decoupling membrane
Warmup underfloor heating to the kitchen, dining and utility
A Velux curved-glass rooflight in the flat roof
New electrics for the kitchen, lighting and sockets
Re-skim, skirtings, decoration and new internal glazed doors
Andrzej Teterycz managed the job from first strip-out through to handover so the kitchen, floor and roof opening read as one room.
